Welcome to Texas Animal Rescue Rehab (TXARR)
At TXARR, we believe every dog deserves a second chance. We are a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue dedicated to saving homeless, abandoned, neglected and at-risk dogs throughout Texas.
Because all of our dogs live in loving foster homes, we’re able to learn their personalities, provide individualized care, and prepare them for successful lives with their forever families. Our dogs remain in Texas throughout their time in our program. Once adopted, they safely travel to their new homes through a trusted, licensed pet transport company. Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match for both our dogs and their families, creating lifelong, successful adoptions. None of this would be possible without the compassion of our fosters, volunteers, adopters, and supporters. Your kindness gives these dogs a fresh start and a brighter future.

Adopting out of State ?
Every Texas Animal Rescue Rehab dog is fostered in a loving home in Texas while waiting for their forever family.
Once adopted, each dog receives a reserved spot on our licensed transport vehicle.
Every dog travels in their own airline-approved crate inside a clean, climate-controlled vehicle.
Our transport safely carries approximately 30-40 adopted dogs on each trip to scheduled drop off locations across the US.
Instead of delivering to individual homes, families meet us at designated public pickup locations.
